
Waterloo Heights Apartments, located in Silverlake
neighborhood of Los Angeles, provides 18 units of studio and one
bedroom apartments for the disabled. It is HCHC’s first
project to be located outside of the geographic boundaries of
Hollywood and represents HCHC’s new strategy to develop
affordable housing in contiguous neighborhoods.
Waterloo received the Southern California Association of Non-Profit
Housing, 2002 Special Needs Project of the Year; the 2002 LA Business
Council's Architectural Award (Category Senior and Affordable
Housing); and the 2003 Residential Architect
Magazine's Design Award (Category Affordable Housing).
