Mirada Terrace Apartments provides 30 units of
affordable family housing with 30% of the units set aside for
formerly homeless persons living with disabilities. The majority
of the units feature two bedrooms or more to address the severe
overcrowding and “doubling up” that faces many of
the area’s low income large families due to a severe shortage
of suitably-sized affordable housing. An after-school program
is offered to residents and the community through a collaborative
effort between HCHC and LISC.
