La Brea/Franklin Apartments, completed in December 1994, provide 40 units of affordable large family housing. It was designed by an internationally-renowned architect, Adele Naude Santos & Associates, through a project with the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art in 1989 and was co-developed with Thomas Safran & Associates, a private housing development and management company.
