HCHC programs have branched out to Hollywood's neighboring communities and the range of services provided for residents has increased. HCHC has also added its voice to support the redevelopment of Hollywood and its neighbors.

The growing need for affordable housing in Los Angeles has become critical, yet fewer dollars are allocated to address this issue in Los Angeles than in most major cities. This means that the monies currently available must be used wisely and more effort must be made to build awareness of the problem.

Hollywood Community Housing Corporation is growing its development programs to help address the need. We have expanded our geographic coverage to include communities adjacent to Hollywood. In addition to helping more neighborhoods, this provides a wider range of potential sites, allowing HCHC to find the best places to invest.

In addition to our own efforts, HCHC is working with numerous partners to provide services and to build awareness of the affordable housing crisis in LA. These efforts are having a positive effect -- we would like to thank all those who work with us to achieve solutions and increase the support for affordable housing.
