HCHC Sponsors It's Third Annual “Flavors of Hollywood”
Fundraiser on June 26th
Hollywood, California -- Hollywood
Community Housing Corporation (HCHC) held its third annual fundraiser
on June 26th at the home of Jerry and Vicki Neuman in Hancock Park.
The event, “Flavors of Hollywood” is a stand-up dinner and cocktail
party with live music. This year HCHC honored Assemblymember Jackie
Goldberg and Wells Fargo Bank for their unwavering commitment to
bettering our community. HCHC is a nonprofit, public benefit developer
of affordable, service-enriched housing in Hollywood and its neighboring
communities, and has completed 16 projects with 500 units of housing.
The money raised from the event supports HCHC in developing additional
affordable housing for low income families and disabled individuals.
“Flavors of Hollywood” was catered by Wolfgang Puck Catering and
Events and featured talented entertainment such as an Elvis Impersonator
with a Thai twist, The Mamas Boys Blues Band, and belly dancing.

Last year HCHC honored Union Bank of California and welcomed “Bud”
Ovrom as the new CEO of the Community Redevelopment Agency of Los
Angeles. The prior year, at our first Flavors of Hollywood, Councilmember
Eric Garcetti was presented with an award for his support of HCHC
and for his commitment to the development of affordable housing
in Los Angeles. The event is attended by 180-250 people, many of
whom are community and business leaders from Hollywood and the surrounding
areas.
